Axel Arigato x Transparent: Speakers made from recycled sneaker soles

The circular economy has been a significant topic in the fashion industry for years. Axel Arigato has decided to extract white sneaker soles from the production process, which otherwise would not have been reused, and to breathe new life into them with Transparent.

Thus, the entire outer part – front, top, bottom, and sides – consists of the same material as the sneaker soles. All other components have been designed and manufactured so that they can be replaced at any time. This means that in case of a defect, you don’t have to dispose of the entire speaker but can sustainably replace individual parts directly. The speaker is part of a special collection available since early December only online and at Axel Arigato stores in Paris, London, Berlin, and Stockholm.
