Born and raised in Exeter, New Hampshire, Matty Cardarople always wanted to be an entertainer.
After moving to LA to study at The Beverly Hills Playhouse, the actor was eventually discovered by the Wilson brothers – Owen and Luke – who launched his career with roles in both Blonde Ambition and Drillbit Taylor. Now, you can find the 34-year-old actor in, well, pretty much everything.
From a teenage arcade employee in Stranger Things 2 to a sceptical security guard in the excellent Logan Lucky – and, lest us we forget, his memorable turn as the Henchperson of Indeterminate Gender in A Series of Unfortunate Events – Cardarople is a chameleon. With the second series of the latter scheduled to drop early next year, we caught up with the actor for the lowdown on his cultural picks.
