Introducing PLĀS: The brand redefining deadstock
Uruguayan, Milan-based emerging brand PLĀS’, just released Drop 2 of their “What Artists Wear” collection.
The brand’s second winter drop features “Item 3: Sweater” and “Item 4: Trousers”, made from 100% Italian-sourced deadstock materials and released in one size only, for everybody and every body. The brand will showcase their designs at Milan Fashion Week at the end of February.
Created by Uruguayan-born Nathalie Danten, PLĀS is a seasonless fashion brand based in Milan that specializes in limited-edition garments and design collectibles, developed by a global collective of artists for the creative community. Each year, PLĀS invites global artists and designers, from fashion designers and artisans to conceptual artists, painters, sculptors, ceramists and weavers, to collaborate on a collection centred around a core theme.
PLĀS pursues authenticity, originality, transparency, and prioritizes the artistic and ethical value of their platform over its material dimension, by investing time and passion into research and experimentation.
To minimize their footprint, the brand continuously researches sustainable ways of creating their pieces, testing new combinations of materials and techniques, and striving for unparalleled quality in each of their limited-edition, hand-numbered pieces. PLĀS’s chain of supply and production is 100% Made in Italy with materials sourced in Europe.
