At just 18, Alyvia Alyn Lind is already a Hollywood veteran. From her breakout as young Dolly Parton in Coat of Many Colors to stealing scenes as Lexy in Chucky, she’s gracefully transitioned from child star to a commanding force in young adult storytelling. Now, Alyvia steps into one of her boldest roles yet in Wayward, Netflix’s upcoming psychological thriller series premiering September 25 after its debut at TIFF.
Set in a picturesque town with a dark secret, Wayward explores the underbelly of the troubled teen industry. Alyvia plays a teenager trapped inside Tall Pines, an unregulated “therapeutic” cult-like school where she must survive—and eventually dismantle—the system from within. Starring alongside Toni Collette, Alyvia brings grit, heart, and depth to a series unafraid to dig deep.
Hailing from an acting family, Alyvia’s journey has been rooted in passion and purpose. With standout roles across film, TV, and streaming—including The Young and the Restless, Daybreak, The Walking Dead, and The Spiderwick Chronicles—she’s proven her ability to evolve while staying true to herself.
