From Iconic DJ Sets to Apocalypse Pop Queen

She’s soundtracked parties for Hollywood’s elite, closed out the Oscars, and lit up the world’s biggest red carpets — but Amazonica’s most compelling stage might just be the one she’s building for herself.

With her new single “Mirror Baby”, the genre-defying DJ-turned-alt-pop artist steps fully into her own spotlight. Seductive, slow-burning, and sonically bold, the track reflects a duality that defines Amazonica’s evolution: the razor-sharp curator of culture behind the decks, and the introspective storyteller making post-pop music for the end of the world. It’s the first taste of her self-produced, written, and recorded debut album, Victory, out soon — a body of work she describes as “pop music for the apocalypse.”

Amazonica’s journey began young — signed to a major label at 14 under the moniker Dirty Harry — but the ride wasn’t smooth. After a series of industry rollercoasters, she hit reset, found sobriety, reclaimed her catalogue, and re-emerged with a name and sound all her own. Since then, she’s opened for Marilyn Manson and MGK, played afterparties from Cannes to Coachella, and become a musical shapeshifter revered by tastemakers.

But Victory is her truest form: a gritty, glittering vision of survival, self-discovery, and sonic liberation. We caught up with Amazonica to talk about the road here — and where she’s heading next.
