In a world increasingly defined by speed and spectacle, Paris-based producer and songwriter Crayon invites us to slow down, tune in, and return to the roots of feeling. With his long-awaited debut album Home Safe arriving October 24 on Erased Tapes, Crayon offers a genre-defying project that bridges soul, folk, jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music—all filtered through the lens of deep personal reflection and collaborative artistry.

From jam sessions in his Paris apartment to quiet nights back at his childhood home, Home Safe is more than a record—it’s an emotional map, a sonic memoir shaped by memory, place, and community. With an all-star cast including FKJ, ELIZA, Rhye, Yamê, anaiis, and more, Crayon uses texture and tone like a painter uses color, blurring the boundaries between sound and vision. His new single, “Diamond Miner,” featuring FKJ and ELIZA, is a perfect entry point into his immersive world.

In this special conversation with TMRW, Crayon opens up about the soul of the album, the spaces that shaped it, and what “home” really means in a world that’s constantly shifting.
