Culture Wars

Acceptance, Ambition, and the Space In Between

There’s something strangely vulnerable about a band finally getting everything they once dreamed about. Bigger rooms. Sold out tours. Songs loud enough to fill arenas. Because eventually, after enough momentum, you run out of the fantasy version of success and are left face to face with yourself again.

Don’t Speak feels like Culture Wars arriving at that exact moment in real time, somewhere between ambition and acceptance, between who they thought they had to become and who they actually are when nobody’s performing anymore.

What follows is less a conversation about a debut album and more a conversation about trust, ego, growth, addiction, identity, and the uncomfortable realization that becoming yourself usually looks a lot messier than you imagined it would.
