One-To-Watch Alt-Rock Act D3lta Releases Long-Awaited Debut Album ‘Mad About It’

Today rising alt-rock act D3LTA has released his long-awaited debut album ‘Mad About It’, set for release on 19th June. Marking his first full-length record and first body of work since2023, the record introduces D3LTA’s most expansive material to date. The impressive debut is aheady blend of contemporary and classic influences from Talking Heads to David Bowie and Twenty One Pilots that form a backdrop to pertinent themes of mental health, youthfuldisillusionment, yearning and isolation. The album is available here.

Written between London, Athens, and Los Angeles, ‘Mad About It’ finds D3LTA navigating themes ofmental health, youthful disillusionment, longing, and isolation through a blend of indie-rock andcinematic songwriting. Inspired by artists ranging from Talking Heads, David Bowie and Twenty One Pilots growing up, D3LTA builds a sound that forms a backdrop to these pertinent themes.

On the record, D3LTA quotes, “Mad About It is a record suspended between light and darkness - between chaos and hope, intimacy and isolation.”

The record opens with his 2022 breakout single "Strange", which earned a Top 40 spot in Greeceand nearly one million Spotify streams, setting a strong foundation for the new material. Whilefinishing the album in Los Angeles, D3LTA transitioned from solo songwriting to collaborating with anelite team, including Neil Ormandy (James Arthur, Bebe Rexha) and John Nathaniel (Gwen Stefani,OneRepublic). This creative pivot directly inspired "Daydream", a poignant exploration of infatuation. The rest of the project further showcases his signature vocal across the diverse thematic landscape,

from the self-reflective guitar-and-piano ballad "Blabbermouth" to "Kids", a bold, slow-buildinganthem channeling David Bowie that captures modern youth anxieties.

Across ‘Mad About It’, introspective moments reflect on displacement and personal reinvention, particularly on the album track “Midnight Passenger,” which traces D3LTA’s move to London and theisolation that comes with starting over in a new city.

Much of the debut record was written during a period of anxiety, emotional burnout, and self-reflection,documenting the contradictions of your twenties, craving connection while pushing people away, andromanticising escapism while searching for something real. ‘Mad About It’ sits in those uncomfortablefeelings, allowing vulnerable moments of frustration and self-sabotage to unfold in real time.

‘Mad About It’ marks a major milestone for the rising rocker, introducing a debut album that turnsvulnerability, uncertainty, and emotional chaos into a chapter of sharing something immersive, resonant, and undeniably human. After being named as a ‘One to Watch’ act in 2026, D3LTA hascarried that momentum into 2026, through his live presence, from a headline UK tour back inFebruary to a recent run of date supporting alt rock band Marmozets.
