Ella Vos Blossoms On Her Nourishing Fourth Studio Album “Rosebuds”

Los Angeles-based indie-pop songstress Ella Vos shares her fourth studio album ROSEBUDS - a cinematic journey of rediscovery, self-expression, and feminine power. Written, recorded, and self-produced by Ella for the first time, this deeply personal record tells the story of a woman named Rose - a middle-aged dreamer embarking on an adventure to reclaim her creativity and passion in Hollywood.

Set against the backdrop of old Hollywood, ROSEBUDS blends nostalgia and modernity, inviting listeners to explore the city through Rose’s eyes - not as a wide-eyed ingénue, but as a confident, sensitive, and experienced woman. With themes of resilience, vulnerability, and empowerment, the album is a celebration of growth and embracing one’s emotions as a source of strength.

Ella says “Rosebuds is my most feminine body of work, written and produced by me and my favorite collaborators. Rosebuds is ultimately about embracing my sensitive feminine qualities and the totality of being a woman. It’s about being fragile, not only like a flower, but often like a bomb. I wrote most of the songs on my childhood piano, and recorded in my home studio surrounded by rose imagery and the nature of the Angeles Crest National Forest. As a LA native, I have always been close to the fame and allure of Hollywood. Knowing how I fit into this world as a woman who has chosen my mental and physical health over traditional "success", who no longer dares to bend to the industry standard, was deeply studied within myself while making this album. The songs are honest, clever, and filled with the beauty that I have experienced in my life so far.”

Ella Vos breaks new ground with her first self-produced album, demonstrating that reinvention isn’t bound by age or circumstance. ROSEBUDS is a testament to the beauty of starting anew with wisdom, resilience, and a fresh creative spark. It’s a soundtrack for anyone embracing their complexity, rediscovering their passions, and blooming in their own time.
