5 Tracks From 5 Artists Under 50,000 Monthly Listeners
by Zach Collier
Hello from tmrw.
You’re in for a treat: we've got five standout tracks that span multiple genres, all from incredibly talented artists worldwide. Each one has fewer than 50,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Dive in and find your next favorite song!

ALBI. – "pityparty"
Pop
The hyperpop vibes are STRONG with this one, and we're all for it. Emerging Gold Coast indie pop artist ALBI. has an excellent voice, great production, a fresh sound, and a really cool and consistent aesthetic. A collaboration with British producer Song Higginson, "pityparty" touches on electro-pop and light Drum and Bass to tickle the nervous system and bring it to the very brink of overstimulation.
What makes this song work is ALBI.'s vulnerable vocal and emotional lyrics. "You're not even sorry," ALBI. croons in the exposed opening. "You want to play house, but the home was always broken." Oof.
She's one of our favorite finds as of late. Enjoy.

GR1FN – "SKI SKI"
Electronic
The beat features a ruthlessly round kick, perfectly executed risers, and a solid vocal from Nigerian vocalist Fuzeejasmine. The vibes throughout this one are just so good.

Free Zoey – "First Off"
Hip hop
The flow in this is INSANE. While the beat isn't revolutionary, Free Zoey's delivery and overall approach is undeniably noteworthy. He knows his way in and out of structured rhyme schemes. He knows when to lean in and when to switch it up. And the hook on this one? Badass.
Free Zoey is a Phoenix, AZ based rapper who's fresh out of prison. He aims to create music that reflects reality with deep meaningful lyrics while still maintaining a sense of fun and rhythm. This is one hell of a debut.

Muo Duo – "Love Signs"
Indie Pop
This is one of those brash, in-your-face kind of indie songs that's going to generate discussion. In my opinion, it's f*ckin SICK. I know it's not going to be for everybody's playlist, but I could easily see it having a solid placement during a pivotal moment on a streaming show.
Fans of Stepdad and Brite Futures (formerly Natalie Portman's Shaved Head) will find a lot to love on "Love Signs." Muo Duo's vocal production – with stacked harmonies and intentional dissonance – makes for some catchy, cerebral indie pop.

StopGap Solution – "One More Time"
Alt Rock
Memphis-based alternative rock outfit StopGap Solution is for anyone missing the beefy guitars and drum work of the mid aughts. To date, they've supported acclaimed acts from that era like Shinedown and Switchfoot, updating the sound with a soaring modern rock vocal from frontman Chris Allen. Fans of fellow Memphis rockers The Band CAMINO will find a lot to love from "One More Time," which taps into a harder alt sound while still maintaining that slick Memphis rock production.
