Today, BEYOND BORDERs, a global initiative from leading Japanese IT and media company Dwango, releases EMERGE M♡DE MIKU, a new EP that brings together Hatsune Miku with a new generation of Western artists alongside leading Vocaloid producers, songwriters and producers from Japan and the U.S. Stream EMERGE M♡DE MIKU HERE.

Serving as the project’s focus track, “All Mine” featuring MOLIY arrives today alongside the full EP, showcasing another unexpected meeting point between Hatsune Miku’s unmistakable virtual voice and a distinctly contemporary global sound. Also on the EP are “All Around the World” featuring George Clanton and picco and “Choosy” featuring Frost Children and jon-YAKITORY, both of which were released with showstopping visualizers that not only capture the essence of the songs, but immerse audiences into a captivating virtual world unlike anything seen before. The EP also features previously released singles “Miku-Maxxing” by Grimes and SatapanP, “Light” with slayr, XAMIYA and picco, and “Party Monster” with Odetari and SatapanP, each offering a different perspective on how Hatsune Miku can exist within contemporary global music.

Across EMERGE M♡DE MIKU, BEYOND BORDERs explores the intersection of Japanese Vocaloid culture and Western music, bringing together artists from different creative worlds to push the boundaries of collaboration, genre and what a modern musical artist can be.

At the center of BEYOND BORDERs is Hatsune Miku, the virtual singer and cultural phenomenon that emerged from a Japanese music software and has since developed into a globally recognized character and creative platform. Through a community-driven ecosystem of music, visual art, live performances and fan creativity, Hatsune Miku has helped redefine the relationship between technology, creators and audiences. EMERGE M♡DE MIKU represents the next evolution of this idea, using collaboration across borders to connect Japan’s pioneering Vocaloid community with artists and creators shaping music culture around the world.

The project was first unveiled during the sold-out JAPAN MUSIC VOCALOID showcase at Anime Expo in Los Angeles over the July 4th weekend.

Hatsune Miku is music software developed by Crypton Future Media, INC. which enables anyone to generate a singing voice by entering lyrics and melodies.
