There are few figures in K-pop who operate the way Jaden Jeong does. He doesn't chase trends. He doesn't repeat himself. And if you ask him what makes a great project, he won't give you a metric or a market strategy – he'll tell you it comes down to one question: does it make his heart flutter?
The man behind LOONA – one of the most singular and beloved acts in the genre's history – is now running MODHAUS, an independent company home to three distinct groups: tripleS, ARTMS, and idntt. Each one is different. Each one is intentional. And this year, all three are moving at once.
At MODHAUS’ Seoul headquarters, Jeong sat down with tmrw to talk through all of it: his creative philosophy, what it took to build MODHAUS from the ground up, the legacy of LOONA, what separates a good song from a great one, and why fan participation isn't a threat to artistic integrity but an extension of it. He also speaks, carefully and for the very first time, about what's coming next for MODHAUS.
