n0trixx on Turning Mental Collapse into Sound

By HQ

With A Catalogue of Madness and Melancholia, n0trixx doesn’t just release a debut album — she opens a door and pulls the listener inside. Announced for release on March 13th 2026, the record is a self-written, self-produced descent into the fractured landscapes of the mind, where mental health disorders are not metaphors, but lived realities translated into sound.

Russian-born and now Lancashire-based, n0trixx has built her world in extremes: bedlamcore riffs collide with trap beats, rap flows fracture into screams, and moments of fragile beauty sit uncomfortably beside raw brutality. The lead single ‘Revenge On God’ sets the tone with devastating force, confronting the collapse of memory and identity through the lens of dementia — a track as harrowing as it is confrontational, amplified by an unsettling visual directed by Loki Films.

Across the album, each track embodies a different condition — from dissociation and psychosis to ADHD, autism, and narcissistic abuse — forming a sonic archive of disorders, trauma, and survival. For n0trixx, this is not shock for shock’s sake, but an act of translation: turning pain into language, chaos into structure, and darkness into something that can be witnessed, felt, and perhaps understood.

We spoke to n0trixx about confronting mental illness head-on, the ethics of portraying trauma in art, and why music remains her most honest form of survival
