Paige Mobley

From Dream Homes to the Silver Screen

By HQ

In an industry full of multi-hyphenates, few wear as many hats—or wear them as well—as Paige Mobley. Actress, model, host, producer, and home renovation expert, Paige has crafted a career that spans both the glamour of Hollywood and the grit of hands-on design work. Raised in Birmingham, Michigan, Paige was immersed in the world of home renovation from childhood, living in nearly 20 homes before she graduated high school, thanks to her parents' work flipping houses. That early exposure to design laid the foundation for a passion that now defines much of her professional life.

Paige got her start in entertainment with small roles in hit shows like Gossip Girl, but it was her breakout as a contestant on America’s Next Top Model (Cycle 23) that catapulted her into the spotlight. From there, she became a correspondent and spokesperson for brands such as Apple and The Ellen Show, before landing her most recognized role as host of Netflix’s Instant Dream Home. The series, which earned a Daytime Emmy Award in 2023, showcased not just Paige’s on-screen charisma, but her deep knowledge of renovation and genuine heart for helping others.

Now, Paige is stepping into an even brighter spotlight with her role as Fleurette—Lex Luthor’s ex-girlfriend—in James Gunn’s upcoming Superman film, set to release in July 2025.

With recent projects on FOX’s Rescue: HI SURF, her hosting roles on QVC & HSN+, and the founding of her own production company, Longmeadow Productions, Paige Mobley is proving that her versatility, charm, and work ethic make her one of the most exciting rising stars to watch.

1. Let’s start at the beginning—how did growing up in a family that flipped homes shape your passion for renovation and design?

I grew up on job sites, which made home renovation feel less like a job and more like a language I already spoke. I learned early on that design isn’t just about making something pretty—it’s about solving problems and telling stories with spaces.

2. You’ve lived in about 20 different homes by the time you graduated high school. How do you think that nomadic lifestyle influenced your creativity or sense of “home”?

Because we moved so much, I became really aware of how your environment affects your mood / creativity. I think that’s why I care so deeply about making spaces feel intentional and warm. Every home I lived in had its own vibe, and I carry little bits of each one with me.

3. Your early career includes acting roles in Gossip Girl and Socially Awkward. What was it like breaking into the industry at such a young age?

Equal parts exciting and intimidating! My very first job was a background extra, and it sparked my love of being on set. Gossip Girl was surreal—I was a teenager obsessed with the show, and then suddenly I was in it. Those early moments gave me just enough encouragement to keep chasing my dream.

4. Your time on America’s Next Top Model was a major turning point. What did you take away from that experience both personally and professionally?

ANTM was both tough and thrilling! It taught me resilience and really gave me a platform that changed the trajectory of my career. Personally, I walked away having had a fun time. Professionally, it opened doors I didn’t even know were possible. It’s still surreal to think about how many people watched that season and followed my journey afterward.

5. From modeling to hosting to acting—how do you navigate your multi-hyphenate career and maintain balance?

I think the balance comes from knowing I don’t have to be everything at once. Some seasons are more creative, some are more business-focused, and some are about rest. I’ve learned to trust the ebb and flow instead of trying to control it all.

6. Instant Dream Home won a Daytime Emmy—congratulations! What did that recognition mean to you and the team?

Thank you! It meant everything. That show was built on so much heart and hustle. To have that recognized by the Academy was the most incredible full-circle moment. We weren’t trying to win awards—we were just having fun. But the fact that our renovation show resonated on that level is amazing.

7. You were the head of special projects on Instant Dream Home. What’s one behind-the-scenes moment that you’ll never forget?

Living in a house with my co-stars! We spent every moment of every day together that summer, and we became family. I love each of them so much!

8. James Gunn is known for his bold creative vision—what was it like working with him on set?

James is incredibly collaborative and has such a clear sense of tone, but he also gives you freedom to play. He is warm and funny—he creates a vibe on set that makes you want to bring your A-game.

9. What drew you to acting in feature films like Love Virtually, and how did that experience differ from your hosting work?

Love Virtually was such a fun project—I loved getting to dive into something romantic and a little quirky. While film and hosting are different, I use the same principal for both… tell the story as authentically / vulnerably as possible.

10. You also run Longmeadow Productions. What kind of stories are you most passionate about bringing to the screen?

I’m drawn to stories that center women—whether it’s emotional, physical, or spiritual. I love anything that has heart, a little humor, and something to say. My dream is to keep creating content that feels both grounded and cinematic, like the kind of films I grew up loving.

11. From QVC & HSN+ to FOX’s Rescue: HI SURF, your TV presence is expanding rapidly—what’s your secret to connecting with such a broad audience?

Honestly? I just try to be myself. I want audiences to feel like they’re seeing/supporting a friend! That connection matters a lot to me, and I think TV is a great avenue for it.

12. As someone deeply involved in youth theater education, why is nurturing young talent important to you?

Because someone did that for me. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the encouragement of teachers and mentors who saw potential in me. Theater builds confidence, empathy, and collaboration—skills that go far beyond the stage. If I can help even one young person feel seen and supported, it’s worth it.

13. When you're not on set or renovating homes, how do you recharge? What’s your ideal day off in LA?

A perfect day off would be Manhattan Beach tanning with friends in the morning, and a musical at the Pantages in the evening!

14. What’s next for you—any dream roles, design projects, or personal goals you’re excited about this year?

So many! I’m working on a few new scripted projects and I'm about to get married. It feels like a season of building, both creatively and personally. Dream roles? I’d love to do another romcom!
