Next-Gen Boy Group PSYCHIC FEVER Proves Being Different Is Their Greatest Strength with New Album “DIFFERENT”

Long-Awaited Album Arrives After Four Years

PSYCHIC FEVER, the electrifying boy group redefining the boundaries of contemporary J-pop, has officially released their long-awaited second full- length album, DIFFERENT, available now via Warner Music and 10K Projects on all major streaming platforms. Arriving four years after their debut album, the ten-track project marks a defining new chapter for the group and one shaped by individuality and creative evolution into a fearless embrace of genre without borders.

More than just an album title, DIFFERENT, serves as a declaration of identity. Built around the idea that each member possesses a distinct personality and artistic voice, the project celebrates the chemistry created when those differences come together. From nostalgic Y2K R&B and UK garage to Afrobeats, trap influences, and emotionally rich ballads, the album showcases PSYCHIC FEVER’s most ambitious body of work to date. Produced with Grammy-nominated Rykeyz (Chris Brown, H.E.R.), the album delivers a more mature sound while marking the first time all seven members contributed to songwriting, making it their most personal release to date.

The focus track of the album’s release is “If You’re Mine,” an opening number produced by JIGG, and with songwriting by WILJAM. The accompanying music video vividly showcases the duality of PSYCHIC FEVER, highlighting both their vibrant pop appeal and their sophisticated edge. In the first half of the video, the visuals capture their lively expressions and natural charisma as they freely enjoy the music, creating an energetic and uplifting atmosphere. The scene then shifts dramatically to an airport runway, where the group performs against the striking backdrop of two aircrafts. Dressed in chic, black-based styling, the members deliver sharp choreography, demonstrating a more refined side of their artistry. The large-scale production reflects their current position as a group expanding its presence internationally, while also hinting at the exciting future that lies ahead.

The album highlights PSYCHIC FEVER’s versatility through a diverse mix of sounds, from the Y2K-inspired confidence of “Masterpiece” and R&B-driven pre-release single “I Got Ways.” to the empowering “Diamond,” Afrobeat-infused “Cinderella Pt. 2” and “Into You,” the smooth harmonies of “Dream Flight,” and the playful energy of “Pink Lemonade.” Closing with the soaring “Glowing,” the project showcases the group’s artistic range, and growth across every track.

“Every member has their own personality and their own color, and we wanted this album to represent that,” shares JIMMY. “The title DIFFERENT reflects not only the music itself, but also who we are as seven individuals. Because we're all different, we can create something unique together. We hope listeners can discover different sides of PSYCHIC FEVER through this album.”

The latest release follows several breakthrough years for the group. Their viral hit “Just Like Dat feat. JP THE WAVY” became a phenomenon across Asia and beyond, generating more than 270 million TikTok views and charting on Spotify Viral Top 50 charts across multiple countries. Since then, the septet has expanded their global footprint with their first U.S. tour, a performance at SXSW Austin and Sydney, a worldwide partnership with Warner Music Group and 10K Projects, plus a touring partnership with The Team accelerating their rise as one of Japan’s most exciting international acts.

With this new collection of work, PSYCHIC FEVER continues to push Japanese pop music into new territory, proving that cultural identity and global appeal are not mutually exclusive. Blending world-class production, diverse influences, and the unique voices of seven artists united by a shared vision, the album stands as both a reflection of their journey so far and a bold statement about where they are headed next.
