Remembering to Forget, Dancing to Heal

Following a whirlwind few years of transcontinental gigs and genre-defying releases, London-based producer Surusinghe delivers her most personal and club-ready statement yet with her new EP, i can’t remember the name of this, but that’s ok. Out now via Dirty Hit’s new sister label dh2, the four-track project tackles memory loss, emotional burnout, and self-acceptance—channeling vulnerability into peak-time energy.

Whether crafting euphoric trance-laced cuts like “Kinda Like That” with NYC’s Kassie Krut and Cameo Blush, or throwing down distorted club workouts like “FTRW!,” Surusinghe proves she’s both a selector and a storyteller. Already co-signs from AD93, Steel City Dance Discs, and Tra Tra Trax and shows at the likes of Glastonbury, London's Drumsheds and Boiler Room have pushed her into the spotlight, and with a heavy tour schedule across Europe, India, and her recent debut in the US, she’s only just getting started.

We caught up with the producer to talk memory, experimentation, the power of the dancefloor, and why being weird is essential.
